Funding for this project came from a 2026 Champlain Valley National Heritage Partnership (CVNHP) Local Heritage Grant. The CVNHP works with partners across the region to promote, conserve, and interpret the shared cultural and natural heritage of the Lake Champlain region in New York, Vermont, and Quebec.

The AVCS summer feeding program will be offering summer meals to children at NO COST to families. The program is available to children 18 and under. (Children that attend the summer youth program at AuSable Forks Elementary are not eligible to sign up as they already receive 5 breakfast and 5 lunches daily. However, siblings under 18 would be eligible.)
AuSable Valley Central School Food Program Guidelines will be upheld during the Summer Feeding Program.
Program Details:
Each participating child will receive 5 complete breakfast and 5 complete lunches at NO COST each week. There are no income qualifications for Summer Meals.
Pick-up will take place every Thursday from July 16th through August 6th. (July 16, 23, 30, and August 6)
Pick-up location: AuSable Forks Elementary School, 28 West Church St, AuSable Forks, NY 12912.
Pick-up time: 3:30pm – 5:30pm
In order to be ready for the July 16th pick up, please submit this form no later than Monday, July 13th.
