The high school experience is a partnership between students, parents, and many educators. As school counselors, we encourage students to actively participate in establishing, designing, and achieving their academic and personal goals. As they begin this journey it is important that they have a basic understanding of graduation requirements and other academic information.

CV-TEC: (direct link to their website)
During sophomore year students are introduced to the programs at Champlain Valley Technical Education Center (CV-TEC) and are invited to visit the campus. During annual reviews, students will discuss with their school counselors whether CV-TEC participation is/is not the best option to meet their career goals for their remaining junior and senior years of high school. There are academic criterions that must be met and maintained for attendance at CV-TEC to be granted. Please note that the New Visions: Medical Careers program is only available to seniors.
