AuSable Forks Elementary School strives to provide students and families a supportive, family-like atmosphere where students build academic and social emotional skills while connecting with peers, faculty, and staff. We are committed to making school engaging, fun, and safe. I am looking forward to continuing our great traditions and providing opportunities for our students that will help them excel.
This year, one of my major goals for our school is to improve attendance by making all students want to attend school. We intend to collaborate with families to make this happen and help address any issues that are hindering attendance. Research clearly demonstrates that students who habitually miss school have a much harder time achieving academic success and may struggle building strong social relationships.
I look forward to getting to know the new students, families, faculty, and staff while continuing to work with all of you who already know me. I can promise you that I will always try to do what is in the best interest of our students. This is not possible without clear lines of communication and a team approach.
