What is AmeriCorps VISTA?
AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America) is a national service program that was established to assuage the plight of poverty in 1965. VISTA members all over the country serve one year at non-profit or local civic agencies to build sustainable programs to combat poverty.
AmeriCorps VISTA in the North Country

The VISTA program gives you the opportunity to develop valuable skills for college or a career. VISTAs make an actual and credible impact on those being served in the community and help lay the foundation to fight poverty in our region.
