Dear Patriot Families,
I’m excited to begin the strategic planning process with all stakeholders and craft a new vision statement for our district. We are about to embark on an ambitious mission: to chart for ourselves a path to the future, one that will build upon the progress that we have been making and accelerate the process of change so that all of AuSable Valley’s children will be prepared to thrive in the world that awaits them.
This week we met with a group of more than thirty stakeholders which included students, parents, staff, administrators and BOE members. We met to craft this first draft of our vision statement for AuSable Valley. Over the next few weeks we are looking for meaningful feedback from you. Attached is a Google Form which will allow you to be part of this process. Your feedback is vital to crafting a statement that reflects the vision of all stakeholders. Our next meeting will be held on November 14th where we will be looking to review the feedback and make any necessary adjustments. We are asking that all feedback be completed no later than Friday November 10th.
This vision will allow us to select strategic priorities and begin working toward each of these goals. It is truly together that we make a difference. Your voice matters and is valued. Thank you again for your continued support in providing strong educational opportunities for all of our students.
