Important Update on Tonight’s Board of Education Meeting 3/25/26

This morning, there was inaccurate reporting from WPTZ regarding our Board of Education meeting scheduled for this evening, 3/25/26.

To clarify, the Board will not be discussing the possible closure of AuSable Forks Elementary School. The district is currently engaged in a facilities study, and no recommendations have been made at this time. AuSable Forks Elementary School will remain open for the 2026–2027 school year.

As previously shared, sixth grade students will be moving to the middle school. This evening’s Board of Education meeting will include a discussion of the plan for that transition.

We remain committed to keeping our community informed with accurate and timely information.
