The AuSable Valley Central School Special Bus Vote will take place on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at the Middle School-High School Cafeteria in Clintonville. Voting hours will be from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m.
Proposition No. 1
“Shall the Board of Education of the AuSable Valley Central School District (the “District”) be authorized to purchase gas-fueled transportation vehicles for use by the District consisting of three 65-passenger buses, each at a maximum estimated cost of $166,000, including incidental costs and expenses in connection therewith, all at an aggregate estimated maximum cost not to exceed $498,000, with such cost being raised by a tax upon the taxable property of the District to be levied and collected in annual installments in the years and in the amounts as the Board of Education shall determine in accordance with section 416 of the Education Law with such tax to be partially offset by State aid available therefore, and in anticipation of such tax by the issuance of up to $498,000 of debt obligations of the District, as may be necessary?”
